OLWEN'S MARRIAGE

In the middle of the War campaign Olwen Lloyd George married. On 19 June 1917 she married T J Carey Evans in the Welsh Baptist Chapel, Castle Street, London. As the Prime Minister's daughter, her wedding played its part in the war effort, with a prominent place given to munitions workers and injured soldiers.
