Autumn Events at the Library

Newtown

Although we’re still in August, our sights are well and truly aimed towards the Library’s Autumn programme of events.

The Drwm – the Library’s multi-media auditorium, has proved itself to be one of Aberystwyth’s performing hotspots, with numerous events in last season’s programme being sold out!

Next seasons events are varied, and include free lunchtime presentations, book launches, films, children’s events, a two-day photography festival, and exhibitions. Individuals participating include the Welsh poet, singer and songwriter Geraint Jarman, playwright and author David Edgar and photographer Jon Pountney.
The Library will also be holding this year’s outreach programme of events in Newtown, Powys. The programme consists of events, workshops and presentations being held in the town by members of the Library’s staff, which culminate with a special evening in the Elephant & Castle Hotel, in Newtown, on Thursday 10 November.

The Drwm programme, published three times a year, contains a comprehensive listing of the events held at the Library. To ensure that you don’t miss out on any future events, you can subscribe to join our free mailing list by simply emailing your details to post@llgc.org.uk
