I’m glad to see that these have survived, I was born in 89 and as such I’ve grown up just as people moved from these kinds of computers to the desktops (and then laptops and tablets) of today with Dual Core Processors and GPUs and DVD-RW etc; it’s been nice for me to uncover a piece of history myself finding a copy of “Book of Games” my dad used to own which contains code for Spectrum, Electron, VIC 20, Dragon, BBC Micro, Texas, Atari and Commodore 64 games. Emulators are online for some of these computers and my dad has helped me learn how the code works for the BBC Micro.
(Once put through a short explanation these languages don’t seem too dissimilar to modern-ish languages C or Perl)
So cute!! I remember fiddling about with a basic computer just like the one in the first photo.
