As I browse through the Library’s collection online, the website, the Digital Mirror and Facebook page, one collection always catches my attention. The Geoff Charles collection of photographs. This is a spectacular collection of everyday people leading everyday lives during the Second World War 1939 – 1945. We have over 6000 of these images available online and majority are also on NLW’s Flickr account.
Often, we tweet an image or two from the collection, and always have a great response from our followers. It’s obvious people like photos, of people! Maybe you might recognise someone…take a look!
