Electronic Legal Deposit
From the 6th. April 2013, the Library has the right to collect material which has been published digitally and online. This is in addition to the printed material which we already collect.
This will enable us to collect, store and preserve the nation’s memory in a digital age. The content will include online articles and books, as well as websites.
There is a variety of information available, but it will take considerable time to collect and process the material, and not everything is available at the present time. Access to this material is available in the Library’s reading rooms. You can get more information form staff in the Reader Services Section. Call in to see what’s available.
