| 1 | Welcome |
| The chair welcomed everyone to this special meeting to discuss the Archives Network Wales plan. |
| 2 | Archives Network Wales |
| The draft bid document was discussed in detail. On the more important issues it was agreed that: | |
| 2.1 | all the partners should make full responses saying how many of their fonds were to be included in the scheme on the basis of their significance and naming examples; |
| 2.2 | more emphasis should be placed on the need for the project; |
| 2.3 | the executive summary needed to be shorter to ensure that HLF gets the message in the first page and is encouraged to read on; |
| 2.4 | the costings needed to be clarified; |
| 2.5 | the memoranda of understanding needed to be written - a draft (A Mine of Information) was distributed at the meeting as the probable model to be used; |
| 2.6 | every partner needed to be committing some amount to the sum of £125,000 required as partnership funding; |
| 2.7 | ACW should aim to submit the bid at the beginning of December 2001. |
