THINKING TASKS
In this area of the site, you will find worksheets which contain tasks based on Illingworth's cartoons.
These are tasks to encourage thinking skills and analysis when responding to political cartoons. They are intended mainly for young historians - those studying at GCSE level and above, perhaps - but they are also there for anyone who wishes to develop a fuller response to the biting visual comments of the cartoonist.

One of the aims of these tasks is to encourage further research into the historical context, so further guidance on this is provided where appropriate.
