The National Library of Wales has unveiled another resource now available through its new search solution External Resources.
19th Century British Library Newspaper unlocks hidden resources for the study of the 19th century and the Victorian period, seen through the pages of national, regional and local newspapers. The British Library selected and digitsed complete runs of UK newspaper titles published between 1800 and 1900 and the resource includes over 1,000,000 pages of content.
Among the newspapers featured are those of Welsh national and regional interest such as Y Faner, Y Genedl, Y Goleuad, North Wales Chronicle and the Western Mail.
This subscribed resource has been purchased by the Library and is available to any user within the Library building and also to external users holding an Athens account.
