The National Library is pleased to announce that the 1911 Census is available for free for its readers. The South Reading Room has been equipped with a computer allowing free access to the census. The service is open to readers of the National Library who can collect a ticket from the enquiries desk allowing them a ½ session and free printing provision. If you are not a reader, then you can register for a reader's ticket online.
The National Archives in conjunction with findmyPast.com, are responsible for this project to give access to the census in 7 centres in England and Wales.
