Malcome Pryce, Rhodri Morgan, Fflur Dafydd, Meredydd Evans, gigs, exhibition launches and discussions on family history ... these are some of the people and events which will be held at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth over the next few months.
As well as a concert by Parti Cut Lloi, the Montgomeryshire folk party which recently performed in Washington DC at the Smithsonian Festival of Folk Life, Ceri Rhys Matthews the pioneer of Welsh bagpip and pibgorn music will perform with fiddlist Christine Cooper. The novelist and singer, Fflur Dafydd, will hold an evening and the First Minister, Rhodri Morgan AM, will give the annual lecture of the Welsh Political Archive. Don’t forget either about Lens 5 – Festival of Welsh Documentary Photography, which will include presentations by well-known photographers such as David Hurn, Keith Morris and Russell Roberts.
