Celebrating St David’s Day 2010

Why not visit the National Library and enjoy the free events held in commemoration of our patron saint on 1 March?

 

10:30 – Nest Jenkins playing the harp at Pen Dinas café 

 

11:00 – Free guided tour. Commencing from the Library shop

 

12:15 – Members of the Pantycelyn Choir perform in Pen Dinas café

 

1:15 – Lunchtime Presentation: The Bardic Chair – by the author, Richard Bebb in the Drwm. Free admission by ticket only

 

Remember too, that there will be traditional Welsh leek soup in Pen Dinas and Welsh products available from the Library Shop. The Library will also fly the yellow cross on a black background flag of St David to celebrate the day.
