Gillian Clarke a Carol Ann Duffy – still on

Following the recent snow fall, the Library’s received many phone calls enquiring if the poetry event with the National Poet, Gillian Clarke and the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, is still being held at 14.30 hours on Saturday 27 November.

As this statement is put online (Friday afternoon 26 November) we can confirm that the event is still on. However, if snow continues to fall or there is other adverse conditions, we suggest you phone our emergency number on 0800 032 56 95 after midday Saturday 27 November to confirm the situation.
