This year's event will be held on Saturday 26 January and there’ll be a warm welcome to families and children. Here’s a summary of the day’s events:
Presentation and tour of the Library’s preventative conservation and film conservation units.
Nigel Jenkins, one of the editors of the much-awaited Welsh Academy’s Encyclopaedia of Wales discusses the history and contents of this interesting and significant book which will be published on 31 January.
Workshops for children between 11.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm – 4.00pm with the Library’s new Artist in Residence, Blue MacAskill.

‘The Day God Met Father’ by Ieuan M Pugh
Official opening of Anthony Stokes’s photographic exhibition, ‘The Valleys’.
Gallery Talk by Peter Lord about his exhibition, ‘Winifred Coombe Tennant: A Life through Art’.
The young jeweller, Mari Eluned, exhibits and gives a demonstration of her work made of Welsh slate.
