Welsh Landscape - County Galleries

The Welsh Landscape collection includes prints from all areas of the country. A wide variety of prints showing urban and rural areas, mountains and coastline, from north, south, east, west and mid Wales can be found. To view additional prints of the counties of Wales you can search by subject or location on e-Resources.

A selection of prints from each county can be viewed by clicking on the links below.

There are a large number of prints showing famous buildings such as Caernarfon Castle and Tintern Abbey. There are also examples showing the industrial tows of Neath and Swansea, historic towns such as Monmouth and Conwy, natural wonders, castles and mountains.

The galleries are arranged according to the pre 1974 counties of Wales because this is the way that the collection was originally organised. The sizes of the galleries vary but we’ve attempted to capture the essence of each county and to reflect the kind of material in the collection. If you wish to see more prints of a particular town, village or area, you may search the database by place name or subject.
