The prints in the Welsh Landscape collection concern a variety of themes which reflect the landscape and buildings of the country. Amongst these are prints of the famous castles of Caerphilly and Conwy, as well as the lesser known castles such as Dolbadarn.

Manor houses and abbey ruins, such as those at Cymmer and Strata Florida were also popular subjects for some artists, while others concentrated on industry and the natural landscape. There are many prints showing the great bridges on the Menai Strait and at Crumlin, as well as the historic arched bridge at Pontypridd. Some prints also show construction work underway. The number of images of Pembrokeshrie and the Snowdonia mountains testify to these areas' popularity amongst visitors.
