The works of Dafydd ap Gwilym, Iolo Goch and Guto’r Glyn and other prominent Welsh poets from the Middle Ages are included in a manuscript written by a native of Harlech who moved to Darowen in Montgomeryshire and which can now be seen on the National Library of Wales’s website.

Llyfr Aneirin to be kept at NLW

Cardiff Council’s Executive agreed on 9 September 2010 that Llyfr Aneirin (the Book of Aneirin) should be deposited to the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, in order to safeguard the long term survival of the manuscript.

Peniarth: A Centenary Exhibition at Dolgellau Library

A century ago, in January 1909, the Peniarth manuscripts from Llanegryn were bequeathed to the National Library of Wales. To celebrate this event copies of 3 of the most important manuscripts are being exhibited back in Meirionnydd at Dolgellau Library until 30 January 2010.
