The National Library of Wales is one of the country's leading cultural organisations, and since our foundation in 1907 we have worked to acquire and conserve material relating to Wales and the other Celtic nations. We hold our nation's shared memory in a treasure house of collections that includes books, newspapers and periodicals, rare manuscripts, photographs, portraits, maps, recorded sounds and moving images.
Donations given by the people of Wales were used to establish the Library and have enabled us to collect and conserve the country's heritage. These individuals gave generously in support of the Library and by giving a regular gift you can continue this tradition. Any gift, large or small, will make a real difference to our work.
The extra income that we receive enables us to develop our collections and services for future generations, carry out vital conservation work and support our exhibition and education programmes.
If you would like to support us either regularly or by making a one-off gift, please complete the Regular Giving form:
