The Software Development Unit

The Development Unit are a friendly close-knit team of developers from varied backgrounds in software engineering. We all work in an open-plan office and most of our work involves working together and sharing ideas. Ad-hoc problem solving sessions are the norm and we encourage each other to share and discuss our work regularly.

We are always looking for new ways to improve the way we work. We have adopted aspects of agile working, run our own SVN version control and RPM package repositories and share and manage issues through Trac. We strive to improve our output by using Test Driven Development and Peer Review but we're also human and don't always manage to do everything we'd like to do.
