The Court of Governors, the Library’s former main governing body, consisted of ex-officio members, appointed members, and co-opted members. The appointed members represented a number of institutions and organisations over the years (e.g. the University of Wales, the British Library, The Wales Trades Union Congress, The Welsh Local Government Association, Art Galleries in Wales).
By now the Library has established an Advisory Body. This body connects the Library with its stakeholders so that it may benefit from their expertise and knowledge as it plans and develops for the future.
