Open tours are usually conducted in English by bilingual guides (Welsh / English). We offer tours in Welsh to groups who have arranged their visit beforehand.

Accessibility

All areas visited during the tour are accessible to wheelchair users. Elevators may be used to reach the Library's 3 floors. The tour does involve walking around the building and standing for periods of time.

Please advise us of any specific requirements you may have which could affect your enjoyment of the tour.

You may not take any bags, including hand-bags, or coats on the tour. Please leave bags and coats in the lockers on the ground floor (Level -1) or the first floor (Lefel 0). You will need a £1 coin as a deposit.

Services

A tour can only give a brief introduction to the Library, and you are welcome to visit the exhibitions, the Library Shop and Pen Dinas Restaurant after the tour in your own time.

You also may wish to take the opportunity to apply for a Reader's Ticket which will give you direct access to our collections.
