Dear Friend,
I could not resist but to send you a note, in case you are melancholic at the end of this "Great Battle" - But this is not the "end", but the "beginning". Although we were defeated, we are the conquerors. Everyone with a little common sense will agree that this will be the end of the Coalition: and an end to Lloyd George as Serpent of Wales.
You must reorganize the Liberal Society. The Coalitionists have rebelled against it: we shouldn't leave them behind...
