Grant of lands by Owain ap Madog to the monks of Valle Crucis Abbey.
Owin son of Madog, for the redemption of his sins and those of his parents, has given to the monks of Valle Crucis, serving God and the Blessed Mary in that place, in pure and perpetual alms and free and quit from all exaction, the land of Moyluav between Garht hevigin and Weun Rvth in wood, in plain, in all its usages. His heirs have supported the gift, ceding it after due examination and protecting it against all illegal acts. In case any challenge should arise in the future concerning the aforesaid gift, he has strengthened this deed with the protection of his seal and the attestation of writing.
